I’m Joette but everyone calls me Jo. I’m from the beautiful U.S. Virgin Island, St. Thomas but I’m currently residing in Stone Mountain, GA. I’m Afro-Latina my mom is Black and my dad is Hispanic, Black and Indian. I love music, comedy, cooking, poetry, reading, arts and crafts, and being outdoors. My oldest Joliyah is a Straight A student, Girl Scout junior who is in the fourth grade. My youngest Kaden is fighter who have been through a lot to get where he is today; he is in the pre-k3.
In 2015, I decided I didn’t like my current situation and I wanted a fresh start before my second child was born. So that’s what I did; I packed up my life in boxes and moved to Georgia for a new start.
I recently started this blog as a way for my family and friends who does not have social media can stay updated with my children being that I moved so far away. I love to travel and try new things with my children. I have always recorded videos and take pictures to share our weekend adventures. I cook healthy meal and share my recipes to my followers all the time. I’m big on finding creative ways of learning. My children don’t realize that a lot of the games we play is educational which makes the process even better.
The overall goal for this blog is to share our journey and adventures, simple recipes, and art and crafts ideas.
